Ok, back in my high school Chemistry course, I was introduced to this rediculous blind speculation called String Theory. See the link below if you need more information on the "theory" itself. It's interesting to note that this "theory" is not only completely untestable, unsupported by any solid evidence, and basically a huge load of crap that some "geniuses" pulled out of their "hats", but there really isn't any foreseeable way for this to ever be tested in the future. How is this science? Who got paid to come up with this junk? Is anybody actually buying it? Who had the nerve to label it a scientific theory and encourage teachers to cover it in class?

I'm having a baby girl this spring. I have three children from a prior marriage; the oldest is also a girl. She's been the only girl for a dozen years, and I don't want her to feel like the new baby girl is "de-throning" her as Princess. I also don't want my boys to feel like they've been replaced, but I'm especially concerned about my daughter.

What are some good ways to keep them involved and reassured that I have room in my heart and home for each of them? Truly, each one is my favorite.

In the movie "BraveHeart" William Wallace is being tortured, when he is laying on that wooden cross, and they rip off his shirt, and is gasping. Abeka offers cursive teaching in kindergarten. I thought it was way to soon, seeing how she just learning to write manuscript. I thought after 1st grade if she has the manuscript down I would start teaching cursive writing in 2nd grade. I've heard many say that public schools don't teach it until 3rd grade.
