In Michigan, there is not a set amount per child. It depends on you and the baby's mom income. If you are going through a divorce, its stated that the child's quality of life should not change just due to the fact parents aren't together, They will still be taken care of by both of you. There is a specific formula that is followed. For instance it was figured in my personal case that with my wages I was responsible for 24% of my child's care, and my ex 76%. But like mentioned before their is basic child
support, then child care, which you will be partly if not all responsible for, and health insurance, which you must carry if you have available. if not the percentage rule is used for your particular case. Anyways if you have a decent job, plan on 500-600 a month!

Just reread a prevous answer, and you can get credit for money you pay her directly. There is a form you get from the friend of the court the mom can fill out to give you proper credit. Just make sure she is trustworthy to do this because there is no proof unless you pay by check and keep duplicates.

How much child support you can expect to pay isn't based on the childs age. However, visit the following website. The child support calculator on this site will provide you with an estimate of the child support and interest owed to the custodial parent.

The child's age does not matter. You can expect about 20% of you pay for one child. Sometimes you can negotiate a lesser amount with the mother in agreement to pay half of daycare or things like that, but remember to get all things in writing. You state attorney general should help with child support services for free. Get a child support agreement set up through the courts because you do not get credit for money you pay her directly and you don't want that coming back to haunt you.

It's not just the child support, my friend! But, Child Support payments can be estimated online at something similar to a state Office of Child Support Enforcement...

But there are other things as well... Medical, Dental, shares of social activities (as the child grows older).... Many other things as well!

There is a complicated formula to determine amount of child support . It depends on your income and how many other children you are supporting and whether you are having shared custody of the child.

You have to wait for the baby to be born before a DNA test will be done so you can go to court and get child support and him to get medical benefits for him/her. The military won't get involved with this drama. At the time he wasn't married when he knocked you up so you can't get him into any trouble. You don't get fired in the military. Marine or not they are humans underneath the title. Get a civilian family lawyer.
