Won't make any real difference. Super unleaded is higher octane meaning it's more explosive therefore gives more power for no extra fuel, but almost all cars can run off either quite happily.

If you put 95 octane in with 98 octane it will not run as great but will do no harm just now but the fuel pumps will suffer in the long run.
Also try to avoid Supermarket petrol ie..Tesco,Asda etc... as the fuel isn't as good as say BP or Shell.
Recommend Super unleaded 98 octane but if you have a car with performance aftermarket engine mods then add a bottle of octane booster to a full tank and watch her fly.

Your car is designed to run on a specific fuel type and using the incorrect grade can and will have an effect on the smooth running of th engine, this would normally be after a lengthy period of continual use, I would steer clear of supermarket fuel too, the fuel is cheaper only because additives are left out to make it cheaper, check your hand book and try to stick with the correct grade. I could spend ages explaining about fuel and it's expected shelf life! Always try to fill up with fresh fuel which means running your tank near empty this ensures that you have drained the tank of the older previously bought fuel.

MOst high performace cars require super unleaded, it should have a sticker under the gas cap, i had a 2004 GTO and put regular in the tank...didn't run well, your guy may be correct, run the fuel out then try with just the premium fuel, you'll know for shure then.

absolutley not, modern engines can detect the difference between petrols and adjust accordingly. I would however recommend using super unleaded if that's what your car manufacturer recommends.

If your car needs the higher octane fuel then using the lower octane may cause problems. Your handbook will tell you which fuel to use. However, if your car uses the lower octane but you fill up with the higher one, that should not be a problem.

Generally no.
Read the manufacturers hand book, it will contain all the specs, info you will need, that relate to your car!
If you have not got a hand book get one!

not unless the car can only take super, which is unlikely.
