What is the point of the man from comet helpfully phoning me this morning to tell me he will be here between 11am and 2pm if he clearly is not going to turn up during this time? It's really annoying.

I have a friend who is too busy to get out there and meet people the old fashioned way, so I wondered if internet dating is still considered a bit desperate and sad, or is it the modern way to do these things?

I have a shih tzu, and live in a very un-safe area, its fine to take my dog out when its daylight, but a lone female walking a tiny dog is not very safe after dark or early morning. During the winter months, I take my dog into the garden, that is quite spacious, and throw balls etc a couple of times in the evening (15-25mins) and once in the morning before i go to work? and he seems to love it.

We go for long walks on the weekends, as I am able to go out during the daytime.

Is this ok? Do you think he is getting enought exercise and socialisation?

I am in my mid-40s and am just feeling rather low. Husband's issues are annoying me, as well as my son's. Feel like I want to be alone, but know it is not a good thing in the way that I feel. I am definitely not suicidal, and know that my feelings can be turned into something good. I am overweight by over 20kg and am very unfit. My skin is a mess, and yet I have medication which should help me. I don't feel beautiful, not even on the inside. I know lots of ways that I can possibly make myself feel better, but my main problems are that I have no willpower and I tend to run myself down. I need anyone who can say things to set my mindframe right. Please advise me, and thank you very much.

Ok I am 15, and I live in Toronto, Canada and my dad got a job in Charlotte, NC and we are moving there in a couple of weeks. I am so nervous about moving to the US. I have been to the US before, and I liked it because it's just like Canada (or Canada is just like the US I guess), like the highway signs are the same, same restaurants, tv channels, companies, all that type of stuff. But even though it's still sort of the same, it just feels very different. Like I notice weird things, like there are tons of billboards along the highway, the fast food restaurant signs are HUGE like way bigger than I have ever seen, I notice lot's more trailer parks, and I see more opinions expressed, like anti abortion bumper stickers, anti gay billboards, "God Loves you" all over the place. I know that all sounds stupid, but it seems weird to me because I don't see that very often in Canada. How am I going to get used to living in the USA? I am really nervous!!!

i am 41 weeks and due to be induced on wed night. i had a show last week where i passed blood and brown icky stuff;

but the past couple of days i have been passing what looks like big lumps of yellowy silicone. and yeaterday i had a small amount of fluid followed by a big slug of this stuff( i know its gross forgive me).

what the hell is going on i was certain that was my show last week but this has been going on the past few days and sometimes its quite a lot surely ther can be much more left!!

does anybody think that this could be a sign of my baby making an appearance before her induction date??

you know when someone crosses that personal space line...for me...unless its a man or woman i know very well or that has an open invitation to... its touching my hair or my face...i remember a friend of mines husband once coming up behind me at a dinner party taking a handful of my hair and sniffing it very close to my neck...i couldnt stand him anyway but at this i had to restrain myself from decking him....no need she did it for me...;0)
