Aslong as it feels right for you two, then go for it. Age is just a number, if it isn't a problem for you or her, then don't worry about what everyone else thinks.

I'd say, on gut reaction alone, that it's way too much of a gap, you won't really be connecting with each other and that if you care about her, leave her be.
However, as long as you both know where you stand with the situation, she's legal and if you want to get closer then it's noone else's business.
This does mean that you'll have to clearly delineate your relationship though - It's good for you to have a bright young thing interested in you, and good for her to have someone with experience, BUT, it's unlikely to work longterm, and even if it does, by the time she's reached her sexual peak at 30, chances are you'll just be after a Horlicks and a nice snooze.
What do her friends think? What do your friends think? They'll give a better opinion than any of us on here who've never met either of you.

Sorry mate, I think its too much. Picture it, Saturday night, 10pm her and all her friends are hitting the clubs and you want to try and fit in, you decide to tag along cos you are her boyfriend and you want to please her, chances are your'e going to look out of place, what if she wants to go dancing and on back to a mates for a party, are you capable of listening and fitting in with ones so young?
I dont mean to sound harsh, you may really like her and vice versa but after a while you would realise it was never going to work.
Save yourself some even bigger heartache than that which you will put her through or receive just a little time down the line.
Does this girl have a father figure in her life? Could she be reaching out for that now? Maybe your the father she never had and you make her feel loved in that way.
I know a girl who dated a guy 18 years older. It didnt work out and both got very hurt, your at an age where you need to making the correct decision for you? You dont want to be getting older and dealing with heartache, you should be trying to date someone older, same interests.
She is out there.
Anyway, hope this helps, All the best to you in whatever you decide to do mate.

hmm, well, let's think about this, when you were 40 she was being born, when you turned 50 she wasn't even a teenager yet. Sorry, but I think that gap is a bit tooooo much, she's only 19, she doesn't know what she wants, she may think she does but honestly, do YOU remember being 19? Sorry, don't think its a good idea for anyone, someone will get hurt.

At first I was going to say go ahead, but after thinking about the HUGE age difference, I'm going to say no. I'm all for love, no matter what the age, race. etc. But she is young enough to be your daughter. Think of it that way, would you want your 19 year old daughter having sex with someone your age???? I think not!

it may not matter now but in time the age gap will eventually matter.when your girlfriend in time will probably want other things she will want to go out etc im not saying your not up to it but another few years you will be a pensioner and she is far from it.just dont get into anything deep then neither of you will get hurt

I think that it is more about how old the tow people act but as for me I prefer 38-50. I seem to have more in common and similar life experiences.

yes it is quite a big age gap but if u are in love with one another then there is no problem ur not with each other to make other people happy so make each other happy. if she dont mind ur age and u dont mind hers then there is no problem.
