ok i have a beautiful baby girl. her dad and me split up a while ago and he has anger problems and very self centered. but i love him and we recently just got back together even tho he got mad and said he was going to kill me and our child...but he made me stop talking to this guy i really like but i want to talk to him....i think im fallin for him..and my bf-mike is all on my case about it like there is no trust in this relationship....the other guy-ryan says he will wait for me but not forever. im stuck i dont know what i sould do. plz help.

i see this all the time from all sides of every issue, and we all know that its pointless to do, but i started wondering WHY do ppl do that? you see it from liberals, conservatives, ppl of most religions, ppl that follow no religion, evolutionists, anti evolutionists, etc.

is it out of insecurity, or a need to know that there are others out there like them? do they need validation of their own ideas? are they afraid of actual discussion?

what is the reason from a psychological standpoint? whats the reasoning?

Well Saturday [Jan 13] was my 2 yr anniversary with my boyfriend and, of course, the main thing we did was have sex.. 4 times on Friday, 3 times on Saturday, 2 times on Sunday, and 1 time on Monday.. Each time was unprotected and the "pull out" method was used.. We started wondering when my next period would come so we checked my mymonthlycycles account and little did we know, Thursday - Monday were my fertile days.. Then he comes out and tells me that he feels that he may have pulled out a little late about 2 or 3 times but it wasnt on purpose.. What are my chances of being pregnant???

Do any straight people think that they CHOOSE to be straight?

I saw Jerry Falwell on tv once talking about how homosexuality is a choice, and that he chooses to be straight and be married to a wonderful woman, blah, blah, blah. In that case, doesn't it make sense that all of the "straight" men who insist that homosexuality is a choice are actually really hot for that cute construction worker in the tight jeans, but they resist him because they CHOOSE to be straight. And all straight women are really attracted to a hot woman, but they CHOOSE to be straight!
If homosexuality was truly a choice, then heterosexuality would have to be a choice, too. Imagine that... Jerry Falwell must fantasize about playing the skin flute... thank god he chooses to be straight.

I've heard conservatives and republicans say that the war in iraq and the war on terror is meant to win over the hearts of moderate muslims and bring democracy and freedom to arabs by liberating them from al-qaida and such. But ive read several posts at freerepublic.com, a popular conservative site where members call islam a religion of death and call arabs savage barbarians. Now, these are people who support the war...i'm not some radical left winger saying "see...this means that conservatives only want oil, or they only want to hasten the rapture/apocalypse", merely i am really wondering if there is a logical answer to why many people (it seems) hate arabs and muslims, yet support a war that Bush freely claims to be in the best interest of innocent muslim civilians. I despised metal when i was younger (I grew up listening to lots of different sh*t) but now I find myself loving alot of metal-core bands. Can anyone suggest any good metal/melodic metal bands? I'm not really into the cookie monster vocals, but I can get past that if the musicanship is good.

To give you an idea on my taste I like Lamb of God, Hatebreed, Killswitch Engage, Norma Jean, Shadows Fall and Mastadon.

I am a young Muslim living in the UK. I do not agree with the actions of Adolf Hitler in WW2 however I do believe we need a similar person to turn Britain into what it should be - GREAT Britain. The only way it will become great is if we wipe out the white devils. We are going strong so far my fellow muslims, we lie, cheat, steal and generally cause a lot of trouble. As we are martyrs and selfish people lets drive the real Brits out by tourturing them and eventually killing them! Like Hitler did to the Jewish people. Lets all wear burkas and speak in Arabic, lets build a mosque on ever corner! Lets bomb anybody who gets in our way. Speak up let Allah know you are a fellow c**t like I am!
