My bf and I have been together for a little over a year. I have noticed lately that all the things that really made me like him, he stopped doing and I finally understand my irritations about our relationship. For instance, he used to cook and help me around the house (he is often at my house 2-3 times a week). The other day it snowed pretty badly, he left my house to head home pretty late, but I noticed that he didn't even shovel a pathway on his way out (my neighbor was sweet enough to do this the next day for me as I am a single mom). He doesn't keep a very clean house, so I guess I am lucky he somewhat tries if I ask. But I hate asking!!! It is annoying and actually angers me because we are looking at the same stuff. He wants to move in with me in a couple of months and I am thinking "no way". Rather than spend another month or even year with him, I am wondering if we part ways now based on compatibility. Has anyone experienced similar? Is there hope for us???

My son will go to sleep then start dreaming and starts crying severly and then starts to pucker up his face like he is scared...He does this about 3 times out of a week!

Fill the drinking glass with water up to the brim.

Place the cardboard on top of the glass and hold it down. Some extra water may escape.

Hold the cardboard against the glass with your fingers and turn the glass over.

Carefully remove your fingers.

You should be surprised and amazed by this strange occurrence.

Repeat the experiment with a new piece of cardboard and only one inch of water in the glass.

Could someone explain to me why the water stays in the glass? I don't have to know the answer to this question just yet but I read two different explanations that are probably saying the same thing...but they sound different to me

Ex. #1: The water stays in the glass because the pressure of the air outside the glass is greater than the pressure of the water against the cardboard.

Ex. #2: When you turned the glass upside-down, a small amount of water dribbled out without any air bubbling back in. Gravity was pulling down on the water and the water was pulling down on the air inside the glass. But being a gas, the air inside the glass spread out more. That meant the air molecules inside the glass weren't pressing against each other as hard as they were before. The air outside the glass, on the other hand, was pressing in on the cardboard just as hard as it ever was. And that difference in air pressure was enough to actually suspend the water in mid-air, with nothing more than air pressure keeping it from escaping.

Hello,

I am currently looking into installing more RAM on my system. When I looked under system properties, I saw that there were two numbers for GHz. My question is what do these numbers mean?


Pentium 4 1.80 GHz
1.79 GHz, 384mg of RAM

I know what the initals stand for, i.e., GHz=gigahertz

384??? Is this all the memory I have?

I need to upgrade, but I want to be sure I don't waste my time buying something that won't be much of an improvement.
