Well it's kind of hard to say because I don't know what kind of school you're trying to get into...art school or something? If so that's really cool and I hope you make it.

But my best advice would be to ask people around you for help and ideas. That includes parents, friends, relatives, teachers, coaches, whatever. You would be surprised at who, if you told them your story, would be ready and willing to help. Seriously, don't be afraid to ask for help. Pride works against you more than it helps.

A couple of fundraisers in local businesses - such as putting out a donation jar or making a presentation in front of your school - helps make money. Also making easy crafts and selling them at a bazaar or holding a bake sale is a good idea. Try to take advantage of any local attractions in your area and be creative to sell things or help people who use the attraction (like skiing and snowboarding are big things where I live - if I needed to raise money I would probably go and offer ski cleaning or something to that effect.)

Washing cars is a usually good plan although if it's cold where you live then probably unadvisable.

Dog walking, babysitting, lawn mowing, babysitting, etc... are some tried and true methods. Or snow shoveling, depending on where you live.

One thing you have to realize is that it's not going to be easy. If it was easy to earn money nobody would be poor. Just keep your head up and try hard and I'm sure you'll do just great. Oh, and don't let all these people who are giving you stupid answers get you down. Yours is a valid question (although you probably shouldn't have told us you are 12), and that's what this site is for. Help and ideas.

Good luck!

Yep, you're obviously only 12...and really do need a good school. Ask Oprah! Seriously though, if you have the guts to come on a public forum and ask for money, you could at least give a little more details, ya know? That's just common courtesy...are you familiar with that concept?

What kind of school? Have your parents make sure its real and has all the right documents, there are fake schools that pop up, steal your money and then disapear, don't get ripped off.
If its that expensive they have tuition, but since you are 12 you will need your parents to get that information for you. You get money from financial aid based on what they make, so if they are not well-to-do then you can get money for school. If they have money but wont help, then its hard because your aid is based on their finances.

Honey, You are suppose to be 13 to ask a question. Anyway could you ask a relative to help you out?
How about your own garage sale? Do you have anything of value that you could sell? Good luck and I hope you get what you need. Pray.

O.K. you're 12 trying to raise a butt load of money.
Paper Route.
Baby-sit.
Mow Lawns.
Shovel in the snow.
Weed Gardens.
Have your own garage sale.
Make really good crafts and sell them at a craft booth.

At 12 you DONT NEED $2500......so get real little kid. Go to your parents and tell them what kind of trouble you are in and get rid of the company that's asking you for the money.

well depending on the school you could try for a scholarship. whether its state federal or a charity..

also if you participate in a church most will help if you ask.

or try fund raising--get the word out and with schooling most people are willing to help.

good luck!!!!

Well you don't need that kind of money your parents can do that. if you expecting someone to just say HEY HERES HOW YOU CAN GET 2500 DOLLARS you have to have s*** for brains. When your 14 get a job bagging groceries and don't blow it all away

you need to talk with your parent's about helping you with a government grant or contacting your local bank.. oor you get a job... whether it be working a paper route or whatever you can get right now at your age is not easy.. try to work at getting the money yourself instead of a hand out.
