I got one for Christmas, and though I'm an avid chef, this is one item I have never used! I don't like meat that isn't browned though. Poached anything makes me want to gag! So, what do I do with this thing? Any tips, recipes, or hints would be greatly appreciated!! Also, the new ones don't blow up, do they? Was that one of those urban myths?

Appetite increaser for pup?

He's been to the vet, he's 3 months (i have posted a lot in the last 2 days, lol), vet is now closed. They are aware of his appetite suppression for the last 18 hours or so.
They suggested chicken broth over his food, not working.
Havent changed his food at all, he's just not feeling good and is on med's (metoclopermide for vomiting, and Amoxil).
He also got a shot for fluid's (like an IV, but not as much involved).
So, he's sore all around his back and shoulder's.

What can I do to help him want to eat? I dont want to do anything that is table scrap if I can help eat (ie:chicken, cheese, ect), as he may grow accustomed to recieving this and make more problems with his eating.

Suggestions on things that have worked for you?

whats the difference between , beer, wine, whisky, brandy, run n gin.and which is the safest?

I heard a considerable whisky is good for heart, beer is good for kidneys, gin accelerates the BP, wine decreases the bad chlorestrol, and brandy has more medicinal values...it all confuses me !

Not really a question... but Please Share.......?

I'll start.. because I love these...

While running errands one day, I stopped in a shoe store to find some comfortable shoes for work. I slipped on these cute open toed pumps and proceded to turn my foot from side to side as we do when we try on shoes. My 6 year old son comes barreling around the corner, looks at my feet and says "Mommy don't buy those, they have a hole in them.. look.... your toe is sticking out... I'll find you a better pair!"...he looks on the shelf for a while and says.."You know what ...forget it....they all have holes.. I'll find you a nice pair somewhere else..".... I couldn't contain myself!!...

Gotta love a man in the making that knows NOTHING about cute shoes!!!

I have elbow pain when pitching. It does not hurt when i throw normal. Just pitching. What could this be?

I've had this for about a year now. Just an uncomfortable pain around my elbow. I'm also a quarterback, but I have no pain while throwing a football. I've had this for about a year now, and I'm going into high school next fall. I would really like to figure out what this could be before i enter high school sports.
