He's been to the vet, he's 3 months (i have posted a lot in the last 2 days, lol), vet is now closed. They are aware of his appetite suppression for the last 18 hours or so.
They suggested chicken broth over his food, not working.
Havent changed his food at all, he's just not feeling good and is on med's (metoclopermide for vomiting, and Amoxil).
He also got a shot for fluid's (like an IV, but not as much involved).
So, he's sore all around his back and shoulder's.

What can I do to help him want to eat? I dont want to do anything that is table scrap if I can help eat (ie:chicken, cheese, ect), as he may grow accustomed to recieving this and make more problems with his eating.

Suggestions on things that have worked for you?

Did your vet check xrays for blockage? Is he eliminating ok? Poor baby. Good luck and stay with him so his spirits stay up. I feel for you.

When a dog won't eat and all else fails, give it some table food. A little won't get it spoiled to eating just table food. Boil some chicken and some rice. Give him some of it. No salt ot anything, just plain. Hope he feels better soon.

I think you should try the table foods just to get him into eating. Then mix it up and he should be on dry foods before you know it.

when i have puppies around here i start them out with pedigree puppy food mixed with the pedigree puppy pouches , and within a few days i start giving half the mixture hard and half soft then every few days a little less soft til they are doing good with eating the hard food , but if you switch their food around it can upset their stomach , my vet recommended pedigree to me and my dogs have all done good on it and they look great , good luck and hope your puppy gets better soon
