No, but most gay kids came from straight parents.

Well, do all straight parents have straight kids?

If a child has two gay parents why would that make them gay? If this were true, than why are straight people having gay/lesbian/bi kids themselves?

Shouldn't they all be having straight kids if they have straight parents to look up to?

I hope you can see where I'm getting at here?

Maybe it's more of a matter of who they're attracted to than who they're raised by?

I am a gay guy--I have one older straight sister who is married with two children. I also have two younger brothers in their early 20's whom now have girlfriends and I believe are straight.

My mother is straight. But, my father IS gay.

We were all raised together by the same parents. No, my father did not molest me or influence me to be gay because I was unaware of his sexuality until I was 19 or 20 and I am now 28.

It was simply a coincidence that I was born gay--NOT turned gay.

Of course not.

And as for your other point about why ALL gays answer a question with another question here is what I believe. Most of us feel that the question that you asked is naive at best, and extremely offensive and insulting at worst. You give NO explanation of why you believe what you asked, and it is a ridiculous concept. People that do that here tend to be trolls who come on here only to insult the gay community.

What you are receiving is sarcasm in response to your question!

No. People grow up who they are no matter who they are raised by.

I think the odds that a gay kid comes from gay parents is the same as kids from "straight" parents.

No..just cos the child is brought up by gay parents (adopted or otherwise) does not mean the kid will be gay....

no, of course not. all of us gay and lesbian kids came from straight parents! I have lots of gay and lesbian friends who have kids....and 99.99999 % of those kids are straight. being gay/lesbian raising a child doesn't mean your kid will be gay. just like being straight obviously doesn't mean you'll raise straight kids.
and to those who posted "gay people can't reproduce"....maybe not in the traditional way, but all my gay/lesbian friends have BIOLOGICAL children....not adopted! sure, some of us adopt, but there is insemination and surrogacy.
next silly question?

I'll answer your question with one of my own: Do all straight parents have straight kids?

I think this should suffice as an answer.

No, gay parents can't reproduce. So there is no genetic component to gay/lesbian-ism ... which is a strike against the argument that homosexuality is inherently a part of a person.
