I am presenting my final production to Cal Arts of a cartoon dealing with my personal experience at Wal-Mart. Only difference is its more adult humor and they are animals rather then workers It deals with weight, political, and its a good dialogue. I am using Flash Professional 8 for the cartoon. I am wondering if this sounds like an original idea, since it is so hard to make a quality cartoon with out it being taken from someone else. Like the Cartoon wars on South Park, or the Simpsons Did it. Thanks people

Breed Specific Legislation. For those who don't know what it is, it regulates what breeds can and can't live in certain cities and such. The main targets are pit bulls, GSDs, Dobermans, and Rottweilers. I've also heard of places saying any dog over 100 lbs can't live there. It's supposed to lower problems with vicious dogs and dog fighting. I don't think it works because I know of one place in particular that had a lower dog fighting problem before they instated BSL. I also think it's stupid because responsible people are going to follow the law, and those who actually fight the dogs and such will just keep them there on the black market.

Hi, I just wrote a question about am I pregnant? Of course I want to be, so when I saw the faint line I got excited. But being on digitals they flat out say pregnant or not pregnant. I dont know whether you need to look at the lines on this one. I looked at another test that I will take another day, just to see if you could see lines at all and you can't. You know before you take it, thinking that maybe its just saying where the lines will show up if you are. Its just wierd that I am having these symptoms. Sore breasts, puking...and I mean it literally came out of nowhere. I was fine at lunch, and about 3pm I was like OH MY Im going to be sick. So should I not take it in the morning, should I wait a couple days? Is there another brand I could get at this point? DO the dollar store brands work just as good? Thank you so much for your time and help.

These two guys were talking at the bar. Guy #1 was talking about this time he went parachuting. He said it wasnt very fun. Guy #2 said why not? Guy #1 said because the instrutor was gay, Guy#2 said why is that bad? Guy #1 said that it wasnt that really, it was that the instructor had said that he was gay and if he did not surcome to his sexual advances, he would be forced to jump out off the plane! I had a truck pull in front of me on the morning of Jan.1, 07. Started my year out great. it totaled my van. I had a '94 GMC Safari. It did have high milage, nearly 190,000 miles. BUT, it was a one owner vehicle that I had bought less than 10 months ago. It had been maintained it's entire life, and was still a very strong motor. Liberty Mutual is offering me almost $1,000 less than the cheapest same model that I can find. That also includes the Chevy Astro, which is just a name away from being the same.I would have accepted $500 less, MAYBE. But by the time I pay taxes and all that bull, I am getting really financially taken. Also what about any pain and suffering, I didn't see a doctor, but I felt pain, and I'm STILL suffering? I am not out to steal a $1000 from some poor conglomerate corp; But, how can I get what I deserve? What happens if we cannot agree on a price? will this go before a judge, or are the big guys covered there too??

OK is it possible for a child who is 2 yrs old to be diagnosed with this. When some of the childs therapists think its PDD. Yes she has behavior problems but what 2 yr old doesnt have. She is more frustrated than defiant. We had her seen by a psychologist for wrap around services which is something like Early intervention. I just think that the psychologist said she had this to get her into services and wouldnt pay attention to my concerns about the Autistic traits she displays. What can we do now. Not many child psychologists around see 2 1/2 yr olds.

How many of you understand the phrase "God loves you"? I really have to wonder after reading some of the comments I see here. We get a bad rap for being intolerant and judgmental and some of you willingly prove it. I see this and I'm a freakin' fundamentalist.

Sure there are people here who want to yank your chain, belittle you and pose impossible-to-answer questions for the fun of it. Ha ha ha. So what. There are also people here who have serious questions. Maybe the way they phrase it makes you want to puke. Are you here to fight your personal battles or the Lord's?

If a question gets your feathers up, just ignore it. Move on. But if you do decide to answer a question, do it out of love and know what you're talking about so you don't end up mocking God.

Even if you answer out of love, some will still call you intolerant and judgmental. You should expect that. This world sucks. But we're called to "in the world, not of this world." So share the gospel of Jesus Christ the way He did.

I have a Sharp 5.1 speaker system. The original speaker has a rated input 50W, 100W max input, 4ohm impedance. I would like to replace these speakers. What kind of rating/impedance should I choose? Does the original amplifier work with 8ohm speakers? How about the 150W speakers?
