Use galleon jugs of watter. cheap and easy way lift them as if lifting weights.

Sorry Mr. Basketball, you're actually goign to have to work for it likt the rest of us. Push ups, situps, isokinetic exercise can shape you up a bit, but not really buff you out. Gonna have to lift...with the dumbell.

Try Tae Bo, cycling, walking, swimming.
Moving your arm as if lifting a dumbell will NOT make you look buff.

Definitely you don't need weights to get stronger. Try sit-ups, push-ups, chin-ups. Hiking will make your legs stronger. You could study martial arts and grow stronger. Many sports will increase your strength. Try an activity you like. So many fun ways to build strength. Don't forget flexibility and stamina too.

I don't know...I actually use my child as weights...lol...sounds crazy but it keeps him entertained and puts a little excersice back into my life...before motherhood though, i used things around the house...excersice with chairs, a gallon of water...whatever i could find.
