The difference between facts and opinions (judgements) is one that many people don't understand.
A fact: A fact is something that can be proven through science, statistics, or any source of hard copy. Facts are findings such as how a psychopaths mind works in comparison to the average person via brain scans.
Opinions (judements): An opinion is a thought that one forms on their own. Opinions can not be proven. For example, someone on here asked "why is pink better than purple?" That is an opinion because one persons likes may vary from anothers.
To all of you out there who try to pass off your self proclaimed opinions and judgements of others as facts, please note that you are only making yourself look like more of an ars in the process to those of us that look at proven facts and try not to judge others when we do not have the right if they can not judge us.

A fact cannot be disputed. For example: George Washington was the first president of the United States of America. Whereas a judgment, is subjective and debatable.

A fact is something that is unrefutable because it is indeed a fact. For example there are 7 days in a week - a fact.
A judgement is something that may not be a fact but rather someone's opinion. A judgement can indeed be a fact if the judgement is true.
So all facts can be judgements but not all facts can be judgements.

Yeah what she said.
FACT, such as Science, is often debated, even judged.
Religion, as an example of TRUTH, and Value judgements might be someones FACT, while not being so to another.

fact is a genuine truth. it is based on reasonable, viable and concrete evidence. it is proven and accepted to be an infallible belief.
judgement is a choice relative to subjective behavior and the situation at hand. it may be based on facts but is not necessarily a universal truth.

I think they are the same. Facts are all based on someone's judgement, and convincing everyone else that it is indeed a fact.. When they succeed, the judgement no longer is, but instead a fact.
