Hi, my daughter's 18 and just started college on a scholarship. She's majoring in computer science and wants to be a computer scientist some day. Her dream is to earn her Doctorate Degree. She was a bit dissappointed a few days ago when someone told her that she'd probably only make 50,000 to 60,000 a year as a scientist. Is this true? That's a pretty good living but we were under the impression it would be something over 100,000 a year.
Does it depend on what area she goes into with computer science?
Are some area more lucritive that others and if so, which ones would those be? Thanks so much for your help.

KG stats PTS 800 REB 440 AST 152 STL 40 BLK 69
T-Mac 683 169 194 34 16
I realize it's the fans vote but come on folks. Don't get me wrong T-Mac is a great player but KG should be starting!! Shaq does not deserve to start at all. D- Howard should be in his place. This voting system sucks and it's us as the fans that make it bad!!!

I was Gladys in the Pajama Game about 3 years ago, and I bought the movie to get ideas about costumes. I watched the song that was left out of the show at the end titled "The Man Who Invented Love." I was wondering if that was ever printed. Does anyone know if it can be found? Sheet music? Vocal Score? I would give almost anything to find it if it's out there. But if it's not, someone please tell me so I can stop killing myself searching!! Thanks!

I have to say that i don't like rap at all. But tupac is someone you don't have to like rap to love. Why? he undenieably had some the deepest and most intelligent lyrics ever, out of any genre! He was nothing like all those boring people who just glorify violence and objectify women. He rapped about real life. As a poet he was great too.

I go to a school where the majority of people are white (about 75%). I sometimes flirt with girls here, granted they are pretty, but when I catch a look at their backside, it's flat and sad. A major deal breaker for me. And usually the cute ones are like that. Anyone else noticed the same thing? Is this normal or is it just the nerdy girls that are like this?

Two years ago, I lived with my mom in Texas. I moved to Europe to live with my dad. While I was in Europe, my mom moved to Indiana. I am now 18, still an American citizen and not a European citizen. What is my legal state of residency now?

I am an American citizen married to a Filipino and she is pregnant. If we have the baby outside the US (say in the Philippines) will the baby be a US citizen? If not, can we do some type of paperwork to eventually make this happen?

My daughter is regressing. She was getting better and better at reading everyday. She would try reading all by herself and really try no matter what. Now, she seems so unmotivated and doesn't want to try anything harder than the level she is at right now...She's also forgetting the vowel sounds and rules!
How do I get her to WANT to read more and keep moving forward.
How do I get her to face challenges?

My hair is thick and short...ish (middle of short and wavy)- always poofy, unless I take a shower every other day. If I let it air-dry, it poofs up, and even if I blow dry it it gets poofy.

My hair is naturally straight though. I tried putting a pony-tail when i sleep, it got poofy and wavy, I even tried putting a beanie on while I sleep (don't have time to take showers in the morning), didn't work. (heh, gah.)

Can anyone help me wih this?

We recently purchased a brand new Jetta TDI and starting about a month after the purchase, the bakes squeal. It's been in about 4 times already having them replaced or reassembled. We are curious if it might be something to do with the cold outside or a manufacture problem. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas on what it can be?
