I have to say that i don't like rap at all. But tupac is someone you don't have to like rap to love. Why? he undenieably had some the deepest and most intelligent lyrics ever, out of any genre! He was nothing like all those boring people who just glorify violence and objectify women. He rapped about real life. As a poet he was great too.

Pac talked a lot about violence. " My 44 makes sure all your kids don't grow". You are just a product of commercial rap. If you don't have respect for the music then don't listen to it. Love the culture then you will love all hip-hop promise.

Yes, I love Tupac!!!!!!!!!!! He is truly one of a kind when it comes to rap. He was alot deeper than most. Most of his songs came from his heart and his experience in life. I will say that people that don't like him, that is fine that is their choice their opinion. But, please respect his legacy and his music.

who doesnt love 2pac. (im not big on the rap thing anymore either) but 2pac is truly unlike ANYOTHER hes been dead for a little over 10 years now and still today there is no one like him. hes true to the soul and heart, i love him! do you have any favorites? ((i think its nearly impossible to have just ONE favorite song)) here are some of the ones i like: baby dont cry (keep your head up), do for love, id rather be ya n.i.g.g.a, gangsta party, still ballin, dear mama, starin at the world thru my rear view, i aint mad atcha...omg i can go one forever! download them if you havent already heard them!

2pac is great. Liked him since I was a kid. My fiance is a HUUUUUGE 'Pac fan and I got him a 2pac shirt for Xmas. He's got all of the CD's and recently got the new one, Pac's life.
I reccommend that one highly.

Not me, but my husband does! Ugh..I don't know why everybody says that about him even though I have heard his music. I just put him in the general rap music section in my brain. do not like. to me all rap is the same.

I agree with evrything you posted. I was just talking to someone about him and how his lyrics actually meant something. It wasn't all about $bling, champagne, B**ches and cars. His lyrics expressed what people went through and/or were still going through in these times.
