as you know Pretty as an adverb got three meanings ,Almost,Fairly and very.
my english teacher asked me to find out that.HOW can we understand the meaning of PRETTY in different statements,it depends on what grammatical point?

Me and my cousin have decided to go on holiday together, we are going to go in March but want a holiday with a real difference so we can relax but have a bit of an adventure and both sort our heads out.
We got to both come up with ideas for a weeks holiday, Im thinking trans siberian Express or somthing along the lines of that, Or skiing, but not a conventional lie in the sun holiday!
Im not amazing on planes but will have to deal with that- any cool ideas out there? Any places you suggest to definately visit?
Come on I want some crazy Ideas!

I'm looking at buying a new laptop, I've found 2 that look good. 1 has a 2ghz processor (centrino duo) but only 1 Gb ram. The other has 1.83 ghz but 2 Gb ram. Which would run faster/better?

I had gotten my navel pierced about a month and two weeks ago. It is still infected. Is that normal? I know that they take a long time to heal but I've never had a previous expierience like this with any of my other piercings taking this long to heal. The infection isn't spreading nor is it causing signifigant pain. It's just annoying. But the main point is. How long does it take for a navel to heal. And Is the length of my infection normal?

Blue screen saying UNMOUNTABLE-BOOT-VOLUME, check hardware/software is properly installed, go into safe mode, press f8. Done all that but it's getting to the loading windows xp then it goes back to blue screen and reset and do it again, any ideas to sort it out please

There r enough distros available. And I don't have a computer that I can use personally. ('coz its at home). There are 2 ways I can go about this:

I can buy a linux book (any distro) with a setup cd along with it. Next, I would need a system for myself. I can buy a laptop too, if I wanted to. But wat system config would I need? Can I buy a laptop second hand that is fast and efficient? The book that I had in mind is the Linux Bible. Because it has about 10 distros and enough information about how 2 use them. I wud want a cheap laptop! Is this a feasible idea?

What does the above alternative offer - learning wise?

The 2nd alternative, I could easily go 2 some training institute and learn. But in this case I won't b having a system. I'd hve 2 work in the institute! And the things that I can learn r limited.
