Well buddy God is a man and he needs all those angels to do the housework. They can dust real fast when they flap their wings. and they know all about using white king, as their uniformas are spotless. and just look at the halo's definteley brasso being used there. Then there are all thos nice fluffy clouds to care for How do you think they would look if the angels didn't fluff them up everyday after a nights sleep?Thers also all that watching over everybody that has to be fitted into the busy schedule. How could he do everything without that sort of help?
Now does that answer your question of why God needs angels?

This argument assumes belief in Judeo-Christian Muslim faiths, but for arguments sake, follow along please.
I would suppose God doesn't need angels or anything else for that matter. Angels would be simply the means God uses to archive his plan. Sort of like the Big Bang might be called God's method to archive creation, just a more specific and scientific description than the story of Genesis.
I think that to say God needs anything is to imply God is NOT omnipresent and NOT omnipotent.
I'm a Buddhist by the way so take what I said for what it is.

Angels are found in a number religions - Christianity, Judaism, Islam and others. The common theme seems to be that they are intermediaries between God and humans. In Christianity, one of their important features seems to be their ability to assume human form. I guess God doesn't do that lightly, so the angels come in handy. In Islam, angels also perform a variety of functions, such as keeping track of each human's activities. Again, they seem to perform the more menial or routine tasks that are extremely important to humans, but just busywork for God. I guess most religions that include angels feel that God has more important things to do - maintaining the universe is a lot work, after all and we humans are just little specks. Some scholars feel that angels are just metaphors. I guess that line of thinking depends on how literal you interpret your religion.

A Biblical question can't be answered without the Bible. Angels serve many purposes, watching over us is one of them. Use our brains for once? Just reading your question was mind boggling enough.

Where else would we mention God or His angels. The Bible is where we get that info...
God has reasons for everything. We don't always get to know those reasons. If you can't handle that, time to find another hobby.

To demonstrate He can create other beings besides human beings. Angels do things for Him that humans cannot do, like travelling from heaven to earth and vice versa to deliver God's messages to humans. God knows what He is doing.

The Angel thing was to keep god from going nutz with loneliness. Haven't you noticed how jealous he is?
All that work and no one to go home to. He needed friends.
