If you have an open floor plan and want to paint the kitchen and living room different colors, how do you transition from one color to the other? Is there just a line on the wall where one color stops and the other begins?

Can a "hard drive" really be completely erased of all data using the "system restore" feature on the computer

According to Dell CS this procedure completely removes all past data and makes it unretrievable by any means. I've read some opposing views on Yahoo answers. If not, how about some of the commercial 'wipe clean' products out there? Or, as some have stated is a hammer the only true option? Thanks

Connect Printer Using USB or Firewire?

I'm in the market for a new printer and notice that alot of them have the option to connect it to the pc with either USB 2.0 or Firewire. I know the difference between the two but what is the advantage of using firewire to connect a printer?

I'm in love with a married co worker who may or may not know how I feel- how do I cope with being around him?

We're pretty good friends at work and sometimes I think he has feelings for me too but I'm not that attractive so I doubt that's it. He's probably one of those overly friendly people. I feel guilty about my feelings even if he doesn't return them and I'm just a mess all day long. I want - need - to stop feeling this way. I'm already looking for another job but there must be something I can do in the meantime to handle being around him. On the one hand it feels natural and makes me happy to be around him but on the other hand - the hand that slaps me in the face every time I see his ring - it's so painful. It also hurts because for all I know he realizes my feelings and pities me. It's not like I can ask him..."I'm in love with you. Even though you're married is there a chance you have feelings for me or do you just feel sorry for me because I'm in love with you"? Yeah, right. I could just see the horror in his eyes.

Looking for some Dark furniture wax to restore my Sourav furniture?

I have a few pieces of furniture from the Sourav Collection at Cost Plus World market. It's a dark mahogany wood imported from India i believe. I had watermarks that i wanted to remove and id' used some steel wool to remove the top layer of wax only to realize they use like a tinted wax and the furniture isn't actually stained. I was planning on buffing off old wax with steel wool and restoring it with a new coat of regular paste wax like ive done on other furniture.

Recently I've been to other houses and have seen how worn they get, and it looks like bare wood in the worn areas. I'd like to find some tinted or dark waxes that will bring the right color back does anyone have any recommendations?

Liberon makes different colored paste wax's for wood finishing but that would be expensive to buy several just to find the right color.

3D Studio Max Character Site?

Is there a site that has pre-made files of characters and environments? I'm pretty sure there's one out there, but I don't know where to start. Right now I'm just looking to fool around with some models and see if I can enhance anything. Mainly looking for video game characters like Mario, Link, Sonic, Mega Man, etc. But anything is fine!
