A friend of mine recently advised me to consider remove the ring on my little finger as it would send out the wrong message to a gay man. Are there any truths in this? Does it matter which hand the ring is on?

me and my bf have been together for almost 3yrs now, he started acting this way about a yr ago and its been getting worse and worse.. he made me stop talking to most of my friends, i absolutely cannot have any guy friends, and is constantly getting jealous about every little small thing.. there has even been times where hes choked me, and hit me and he always cries after he does it saying he is sorry.i know i need to leave him the question is HOW?ive tried talking to him already so many times and im just very scared of the way he reacts.. he threatens me everytime i leave him.. im embarassed to talk it over with someone, what do ya'll suggest??

I remembered being taught when I was young and even now to stay away from the use of religious symbols or items as this may lead to some form of idol worship that could compromise the belief of the one true God. And yet despite Muslims being taught that, surprisingly the crescent moon and star is being accepted as the symbol of Islam.

my good friend just passed away 3 nights ago. we were very close and we have always been there for eachother....i went to the hospital to see if he was okay...and i was told by one of the doctors that he has actually asked to speak to me. When i entered the room i couldnt help but cry and hold my chest. He was in so much pain. head injury, broken lower spine, and a broken wrist. He called me over and started to cry. i held him and told him everything was going to be alright. He pulled me closer and held my hand and told me that i have to think positive,and take the small box from under his bed at home and bring it to his sister. his sister lives 2 hours away from where he lived. i knew that the assignment he gave me to do was very important and i was so happy to know that he chose me. The next day i found out he had passed away and at that moment i knew it was time to bring the box to his sister. there was only one big problem. i looked under his bed but found nothing. what do i do?!?!

7 yrs ago I was caught with a fake ID in Pennsylvania. I plead guilty to 2 charges, paid the fines, and was told I'd lose my PA driving privileges for 6 months. I had a WA license and was told over the phone (wish I had it in writing) by the PA courts that it would not impact my WA license.

Now I'm moving to California and can't get a CA license b/c the PA thing is on my record. Turns out I had to submit a "voluntary suspension" form which I never received from PennDot. They're telling me that I need to complete a 90day suspension and pay $25 restoration for them to clear my record -- which should hopefully let me get a CA license.

My question is whether or not WA will receive this suspension notice from PA and suspend my WA license in the meantime? Or whether I can serve the suspension in PA and maintain my WA license? I've been given contact info to appeal the matter and get a PA state rep to help, but since it's just 90 days I feel it would be quicker to just ride it out.

This situation is really unique. I met my girlfriend online. She was from a small town in Texas and Im from Miami. I started talking to her and we really hit it off. I called her everyday for 4 months straight and we talked for hours everyday. I was a non-active firefighter in BSO county because I was 17, but I was training. I had a good job as a Customer Service Team Leader, supervising 24 other people. I was also going to a good University to become a doctor. I gave that up for her, to go be with her in Texas. She started to change a little bit and we started fighting a lot. It goes from the best moment of my life to hell and back again. My girlfriend has had a hard life, she was abused physically by her mother and sexually by her father, and all her past relationships ended in the guy hitting her or cheating on her. I love her so much, we even have a baby together. Even so, we started having fights and she left to live with her aunt. Should I go back, beg her, or wait?

what are your thoughts? Since no one read the end of my last post, here are MY thougts first thing before you read the email. I believe this is a misrepresentation of the God I know. My God is full of love and grace and has been known to discipline but I don't believe He is so bent on getting people to believe in Him that he would kill someone for not believing He existed or for speaking badly of Him. How many people do you know that take God's name in vain every day or speak out against Him in one way or another? Have they died recently? Probably not. I think this email is sad but I wanted to post it on here just to kind of take a survey and see what your thoughts are. Please don't think that I believe this or back it up in any way. Don't point your anger or answer in my direction as I did not make this list up. Ok here it is:

I am only 5'3 and my body is curvy so that makes my life a living hell for finding good jeans. Ive tried SO many and a lot seem to loose their tightness and get all baggy...especially Old Navy jeans. Anyone know a jean that stretches but keeps tightness? Skinny jeans? Help!
