He was a man of great spirituality. A great guitar player though he did not flaunt his talents. Alice Cooper once said that George was one of the greatest that he would put just enough guitar into a song that was needed no more no less.

The second best Beatle- John the first, George the second. You could always tell a "George" song. And he lived like he wanted to, out of the public eye- unless he had something to say. Loved the Wilburys.

Good guitar player who got better as the years went by. Good songwriter as well although he tended to interject too much Krishna bs and his religion into his later tunes. Decent enough singer, but in the Beatles he was no John or Paul. Definitely a humanitarian who cared for others. And how can you not like the person who wrote "Here Comes The Sun" and "Taxman?"
