I am very nervous about going into labor and having my baby. This is my first time and I don't know what to expect. For instance I am planning on getting the epidural. Does anyone know how badly it hurts to get that done? I know labor is going to be painful but how bad is it going to be? Then theres the question of the placenta. How much pain is it to lose that after the baby comes out? Scared and curious awaiting real answers please.

There are sooo many good children actor's out there that I think they need a catagory just for them. I mean from age infant to 12 year olds. And then maybe a teen catagory 13-17 (as 18 is legal adulthood they can go into the catagories already there). My dh and I watched it Tuesday night and we both thought the kid from "Two and a half men" definitly deserved an award if not a nomination. HE"S hysterical. The show wouldn't be the same w/out him....

I am a white middle aged female with absolutely no axe to grind. When a younger female colleague suggested the idea (in the context of a discussion about the Notting Hill Carnival) and I agreed, another colleague said we were racist. This really bothers me, because I don't think I am. But I would be interested to see what others think. I DO have black male friends!!

I have a pair of Donald Pliner shoes that have about 3 inch heels, they've got metalwork on them as well as beigy goldish cowhair...it's his western couture collection. They are simply hideous but I love them!!!!

my boyfriend and I engaged and we are planning our wedding for april 28th. my family is happy bc it is what i want and they know my boyfriend really loves me. On the other hand, my friends doesn't know him too well cuz, as long our relationship is long-distance, everytime he comes down here (to the Dominican Rep. ; hes from the states), we usually hang out ourselves. they aren't agree cuz as long my boyfriend (according to their opinions), is from scranton PA and they said thats a town, not a city, i will not have a good life. Not just that, but they asked me about his background which i consider good cuz hes graduate and working on an allied services company... the only problem is that hes still living @ his parents. but thats not a problem cuz his family will provide us an apartment. when i commented him about what they said, he felt bad and told me that he doesn't want nothing bad happening to me, but the best. I feel he loves me so much. i am too. what do you think abou this?
