So now Bush wants to provide a "surge" of military troops to Iraq to clear out the insurgency. More hundreds of millions. Then he wants to provide a "jobs".More hundreds of millions, pumping up to $1bn into Iraq's shattered economy to boost morale. The details of the plan - from painting schools to cleaning streets - have a ring of earlier failed initiatives launched with high hopes by the US military.
But I thought we had already built new schools. Now we have to paint them? What is going on? And Iraqi citizens who can find no other jobs are already "cleaning" streets. This so reminds me of jobs programs here in the states. Menial jobs for people who simply do not matter. The only difference is that we are doing it in a country not our own.
Nothing you do is working Mr. Bush.Iraq is broken, as as your policies, plans and dreams.

I am looking for new job, left the old one due to terrible management, and women backstabbing eachother. The surroundings were not very disirable.

Two friends were reminiscing about a party they had been to the other night.'Cracking party eh,Joe, my head's still splitting.'
'Mine too Bill...good booze and a posh house.' 'Posh house ? it was n't that posh...a semi in suburbia?'. 'No way, Bill it had a gold -plated toilet'...'What? no it did'nt...'
This argument went on for a while until both agreed to try to find the house to settle the matter once and for all.
When they finally tracked the house down, Joe knocked on the door and asked the woman who answered 'Excuse us madam would you settle an argument? We were at your party the other day and my friend says you have a gold-plated toilet ...is that true?'
The woman just turned around and shouted to her husband..'George, I've found that basta*d who crapped in your tuba!'

We started talking online...I've seen his pictures (him and w/friends) we exchanged phone numbers (he only lives about 15mins from me) and we are planning to meet up this weekend. I havent had any luck meeting anyone so I figured I give it a try. I know all the precautions to take and everything I am just wondering if things go well and maybe we get a little serious, what will others think when I tell them I met him online?

I will take a friend or two with me to meet him, I know better then to go by myself.

i was reading this thing on babycentre.com about a 4weeks development and it said never rock your baby asleep that they need to learn on how to fall asleep on their own. the problem is that my mother-in-law rock him all the time and I'm afraid to tell her that i don't want her to because she may get mad and not listen to me.
when my 2 1/2yr old was younger he would fall asleep on his own up until he was 5-6 months old, she rocked him all the time and he would think that he would get it every night, and i had to cuz that would be the only way he would fall asleep. he still has problems falling asleep on his own, he yells everytime i put him for for a nap or for the night. but i let him cry, he 2 1/2yrs old and needs to fall asleep on his own. so i do i tell her that i don't want her rocking my 4 week old, that he needs to learn to fall asleep on his own???help me please. i dont wanna have to do the same thing for this son like i had to with my first.
