He believes Iam not showing him true devotion and that I am unable to completely show him I love him. I know I do and feel I am doing all I can. How can I get him to feel differently?

You should not have anything to prove to him you actions will show it , telling him he is the only one for you , just by wanting to be there with him doing anything even if it is sitting there watching tv shows you want him and you are his . Just be there for him and if that is not enough ask him what will it take to prove it to him and go from there, some people you just can;t make happy , I know I was one of them and almost lost the lobve of my life because of it .

I would suggest that while you're holding each other, just tell him how you feel and don't be afraid to use words that sound corny, unoriginal (from movies or books) or cliched or flowery. You just need to get the message across. He should enjoy it.
