In Singapore, where it is only about 1 degree above the equator, if I am not mistaken, my sister said when she went there the sunset was at 7:30 pm! It is much later than in my hometown (about 6 degrees above the equator), where the sunset only varies from 5:40+ to 6:00+ pm. I'm wondering what the explanation to this phenomenon could be.

I heard a story that supposedly occured back in the days when people were regularly beheaded as punishment for a certain crime. Once this guy was going to be beheaded... his friend was struck with a unusual idea... he knew his friend would be beheaded no matter what... and there was nothing he could do..... so he asked his friend to be do an experiment as his las feat he would do in his life... The experiment consisted that after he was beheaded... he was to bliink if he was still alive.... (if he still had conciousness of the brain) Well it turned out that after he was beheaded he blinked incredibly for about 10 seconds before the blinking stopped... kinda interesting huh? anyone else heard this story??????? My sister's teacher related that story to her class... and my sis told it to me... supposedly its true.... and I think its feasble.... not like we could prove it this days though :) so if you could give me the names or sources for this story I would really appreciate it

I buy three things with my credit card it s a hsbc bank credit card my bill is 6150 i add it up. I want to know how long would it take for them to send you that bill i use it last month around the 3 week of december. my friend say that i should call them and tell them that i didn t received the bill or else they will add interest on it and probably mess up my credit i thought that they will send you the bill that y am not worry about it. should i worry or not.

Is the following claim of Swami Ramdev, as reported at www.YogaPranayama.com correct??

HIV & AIDS:

On 'India TV' & couple of other TV Channels, on Dec. 22 & 23, 2006, Swami Ramdev Ji said that Yoga Pranayama & the Aurvedic & Herbal Medicines suggested by him can control & cure AIDS. He added that the CD4 Cell count of the people affected by AIDS, which had fallen to 50; 100; 150 have gone up to 400; 500; & even 600, which is quite normal. He added that even the people with CD4 Cell count of 5 to 10 have benefited. CD4 cells (T4 count, T-helper cells) are a class of immune cells that gradually get depleted in HIV infection.

On Dec. 22 & 23, 2006, 'India TV' also showed a lady, declaring openly, in one of his Yoga Science camps to have been cured of AIDS. This lady had come to know that she had AIDS, after she lost her husband due to AIDS.

Swami Ramdedv also claims to have cured 200 cancer patients and he is ready to give evidence.

How WHO is silent on this??

Hi. I'm a 5'7 woman. I weigh 140 and I really don't like how I look. My goal is to get down to around 130 pounds. Do you think that losing ten pounds will show a difference? Also, for about a week and a half now, I've been doing leg exercises on my Easy Shaper and a couple stretches. I don't know if it's just me, but my thighs seem bigger. Is it possible to notice a difference in a week and a half? I really don't want my thighs bigger. I really just want to get smaller. Has anyone out there gone on a diet that really works and have been able to keep the weight off. Any tips you'd like to share? Thanks for any answers.

Does anyone remember this old movie about an army man that was in the woods during a war and a bomb went off too close to him and he lost his sight. then, an indian tribe found him and took care of him and tauht him how to fight and take care of himself dispite his blindness. then after they trained him, they let him out into the real world. after that, so many things happened, i cant even write them all down. Marek Halter, the author of the Canaan Trilogy makes that claim during the Q&A section of his book "Sarah". He says that fact came from the Bible. However, I've never come across that in my reading. I use a NKJV and NIV Bible. Is it something that I overlooked or is it in another version of the Bible?
