The college I attend is a private, christian college. My roommate is a freshman and recently got a job at a fast food establishment that doesn't close until 1:00 am, 30 minutes to close and then a drive home results in a reture around 2:00 am. Our curfew on weekdays is midnight, and 1:00 am on Friday and Saturday. She emailed someone about getting a curfew extensions because she really, REALLY needs to have this job and maintain as many hours as possible--requiring her to be able to close.. the person over curfew enforcement replied that she can only stay out past curfew two nights a week. My question is if she is 18 and an adult, can they REALLY keep her from her legal right of working full time, especially if she can easily document by a time slip and managers initials when she leaves? It just doesn't seem right or fair..

You know when you're watching nature programmes and you see baby lion cubs that have their fur coat and they can walk and they normally fight with each other and stuff but they can't catch food for themselves.

i was with this guy for almost 3 yrs ,was an incredible relastionship for me with the usual fights.i got hurt b4 so i coudnt trust him very well which led to me accusing him an a myriad of other arguments all the time.he recently broke up with me about a couple mths now he had various reasons the main one being that he felt ''tied down'' and didnt want to deal with it anymore he sounded fed up.since then i tried a lot to get him back even though i was wrong in most ways he had his ways as well cussing and making me an emotional wreck.i have tried to stop calling him i cant stop myself what do i do help?! i want to be with him so badly i really do love him since we broke up we talk everyday (i call) he or i isnt with anyone else he tells me he loves me all the time an we met a few times recently an he moved like it yet he says he dosnt want to be in a relationship.i dont know how to let him go.i want him back.i am an emotional wreck help!

We go to school to get an education.. right? (thats the main reason right?)
We need to get an educations to do well in exams.. right? (main reason again)
We need to do well in exams to get good grades and hence get a good job...right?
We need to get a good job to get money... right? (i mean.. why would one work 24/7 if u dont get money for ur hardwork?)
We need money to buy food and other stuff..right? (no one in their right minds would earn money just to stare at it...)

I want to start off with saying that I would like some honest suggestions. I am about 5'9, weigh between 140- 145. I don't really exercise, unless you include walking across campus at my university or my job as a to-go girl, where I prepare food to-go at a busy restauraunt. Our main water pipe off comes in through nextdoors wall could this cause a problem or is it common in semi houses? If they turned of their water supply would it turn off ours, or is it a different pipe running through their house not connected to their pipe work?
