this is very strange i have a girl bunny and she has floppy ears and a boy bunny he has regular ears there both 4 months. but today i saw my girl bunny on top of the boy bunny in a very strange behavior it was as if they were doing it eww anyways how is this possible why is the girl on top seriously guys dotn make a joke out of this iam curious?

female mammals hump male mammals on a normal basis. Its just like people, not to be sick (and the bunnies aren't having intercouse when the female is on top) but, it's a dominance thing. She's just showing him that Lop eared bunnies rule!

That sounds like a submissive type thing. I don't know about bunnies, but some animals do very similar things when showing their dominance or selecting a mate, etc, etc. Consider it body language between the two.

maybe they werent actually doing it. My old girl dog used to hump everything bc she was raised around boy dogs. maybe she saw the other bunnie do it and figured it was natural this is just my theory. i havent had bunnies since i was 7 and they were both boys!

It's obvious that the female is the dominate bunny of the two. She's not trying to mate, mounting is also the way that they show who's the boss.

rabbits dont know what sex they are!!!! -so the girl might have though she was a boy and the boy was a girl!
