I am 45, 6'00" tall weigh 19.5 stones and totally unfit, I would like to lose weight and become fit again (I found the extent of my non fitness, new years eve after 10 mins of dancing I thought I was going to die) anyway the point is after 10 yrs of smoking and a lifetime of high salt consumption, I was wondering if it would be possible to regain my fitness with dieting and excercise,or if my arteries are so clogged up that all I am likely to do is be miserable and not gain any benefit as the damage has been done.

I was drinking hot tea while my mom was vacumming the needles from the tree. I am very sick with a cold for two weeks. My dad berates my mom can't she (me) do that? Then my dad says that I don't realize how frail my mom is and that she is old She isn't that old. My dad never has any concern about my mom all he does is to put a front to everyone that he is concerned about my mom but he is not. He always verbally abuse her and feels that he doens't want to help her. My mom didn't say it but she felt that I should have vacummed. I am the one who disassembled the tree and put all the ornaments back in the box. My dad never ever does that. Also my dad has made indirect comments that I never going to buy a house (Yeah, I cannot get a loan duh?) My brother broke the news that he is going to try to buy a townhouse this month. We all know that Snape has been in such bitter life. Neglected and abused by his parents. Suffered relentless teasing and bullying from the Marauders. Hung upside down in mid-air, humiliated while other students watched. Have an ugly appearance. Unpopular among his colleagues and most students. Alone and lonely, without true friends to support him. (Well, at least he’s still a gifted and powerful wizard in Harry Potter’s world.)

What do you think then? Do you at least have such sympathy toward him?

I have two installations of Windows XP on my computer, each on it's own dedicated hard drive. I use one as my main set up, and the other for testing e.g. installing beta software etc. before exposing my main system.

I want to dual-boot between them. I used to use xosl to dual-boot between Win98 installations in a similar set up, but that doesn't seem to work with XP. I'm currently resorting to physically (un)plugging the appropriate drives.

Any better suggestions? (Ideally a free software solution to dual-boot; or a secure hardware solution.)
