Go for bright green with orange streaks. Try to accessorize your dog with matching costume jewelery.

Dye used for human hair can be very bad for dogs. Dogs have sensitive skin compared to humans and have a much different pH balance. To dye your dog I would recommend taking him to a groomers who will do it for you (saves you the mess... especially when they shake) or tracking down some doggy hair dye.

Emotionally or physically? Why would you want to dye your dog? It's not a fashion accessory. Let the dog be natural -- dye your own hair if you want to experiment.

You have to use food coloring only. Real dye will hurt his sensitive skin.

first you need to ask yourself is your dog a pet and friend or an accessory? if it's the second, find him a home. if you must jump on the bandwagon of strange things to do to your pet, take him to a professional groomer where the dye will be safe to his skin and coat. but your poor dog. what if he preferred you were blonde? but you don't have to worry about that because dogs love unconditionally. it's us humans that have to change everything to suit our needs.

Kool-aid works great, will not harm your dog... We have a Bichon, and we do her up for Valentines day in pink... It does not hurt them, and do not know why people would equate it to abuse...Geez, it is just for the holiday, and she seems to enjoy the extra attention...

Don't get it in his eyes or ears or mouth. Otherwise it should be okay however, it's not good for the dog....
