I'm seriously considering finding a new job, because over the holidays, I realized how unhappy I am at my current job. The only good thing about the job is the pay, which isn't all that great, but better than I've made before. Should I quit or stick around for the semi-decent paycheque?

We have a very good friend living with us while he gets back on his feet. He's new to the area and staying with us while he earns enough money to get a place of his own. (note we are NOT in a hurry to get him out of the house, we enjoy having him with us).

This Christmas we all exchanged gifts, and we felt bad because he had spent a lot more money on gifts for us than we had for him. We could have spent more, but were being conservative in order to avoid embarrassment. Apparently this backfired.

In the future I guess we could set up a guideline to avoid this sort of thing.

He was very gracious about it, but I really sort of feel like I need to make it up to him.

Any good advice out there?

My BF's ex wife has always been difficult. But this year for Christmas he was supposed to have the kids for Christmas morning based on a schedule the court drew up. She refused to acknowledge there was such a paper and demanded to have the kids on Christmas morning. My BF ultimately refused and took the kids home for Christmas morning. He gave her the kids back at noon and she had them for Christmas Day and the day after. Now she is raising a stink over every single thing. She's almost to the point of unbearable. The kids are completely in the middle and she likes to put them there. She's told the kids how horrible he is and I think she's really going to hurt the kids emotionally. She's now threatening to call child services because the oldest (who just got certified by the Red Cross for babysitting) is staying home on Christmas break. Can the court require counseling for her? Can the court make her cooperate with us on the visitation schedules?

I need a freezer but do not have the room in my kitchen. What I do have however, is sort of conservatory that in the winter is very cold and in the summer is very hot.

I have heard that you can get fridges to use in extreme temperatures, is this also true with freezers? I am looking for a medium sized chest freezer but have had no luck in finding one in the UK to use in extreme temperatures. can I just use a normal chest freezer? Are they all suitable for this kind of use?

Well, I kinda have a problem. I keep having these weird dreams about someone I don't even know. He's a complete stranger to me but he's absolutely gorgeous! He smiles and me all the time in my dreams and he acts like I've known him his whole life. He doesn't look familiar at all. In my dreams, I'm usually at my house and he's my neighbor. He rings my doorbell and offers to help me with unpacking boxes (in my dreams, I moved into a new house). I say "ok" and when we finish, we go out to dinner or see a movie and when I get home, he says that he had a wonderful time and that he'll see me again. He kisses me goodnight and then drives away. That's when I wake up. It's really strange! Can someone explain what's going on or why I'm dreaming about him???!!!

I have a 13 year old dog. She is my baby. She has lumps all over her (poor girl) her lips are starting to fall, her used to be beautiful white teeth are turning yellow, and she moans and groans all night. After a long day of walking or swiming she gets super stiff. And she has arthritus. What can i do to keep her happy and healthy in her older age?

she is a medium mutt we think part blue healer, collie, springer spanial, mix. she eats twice a day, 2 cups of kibbles and bits.

It seems as though the dealers have become excessively greedy when the used cars are costing the same amount of a pickup or suv. And why are we paying such high prices for a used vehicle with 100,000 or more miles on it? Does this make sense to anyone???

I am trying to get my fathers autopsy report but the hospital will not budge in giving it to me. My fathers death 20 years ago was suspicious and they said that my mother would have to be the one to get it. She will have nothing to do with it because it is so hard still to deal with, Its really hard for me too but I need closure once and for all. How would I go about getting a copy of this? I have no other family that can help. Please does anyone have any ideas? Thank you
