is it to young to be intimate with a guy at 15? How old should you be? How do you know when your ready?

Physically your body is ready for sex and reproduction (make babies) as young as 13, in some cases younger or older.

The problem though is emotional, are you sue you want to give yourself to someone like that now. 15 is so young and your virginity is something special that should be reserved for someone you very much care about. To do it that young usually result in regret and sometimes an adversion to sex that can harn future relationships. Think aobut it carefully before you do anytihng, and if you already have then why ask when you have already decided.

Yes- too young. I dated a guy from the time I was 13 until I was 23, we had a child when I was 16 yrs. old. I finished high school, but it was extremely difficult since I also had to work full time. I am now 27, I went to college part time for 5 1/2 yrs while I work full time trying to get a degree. I cant afford not to work because I have to support my daughter, but I make too much money (by a few dollars) to qualify for grants, so I have not taken any classes for the last two semesters because I cannot afford to pay the 376.00 a credit hour out of my pocket. I missed alot of things that I already regret because I was working or schooling.....trying to make things better-yet it still kills you emotionally. Missed soccer games, gymnastics, choir programs. Obviously her father and I never meant for it to happen that way, but you need to realize that once you make the decision to be intimate.........things can happen that you don't intend. Even when your careful-we thought we were. When you can take care of yourself financially-and dont mind giving up life as you know it should you become pregnant (you live for your child then :) Then maybe youre ready.

I was intimate with a guy at 16 and regret it to this day and I am 32 now!
You know when you are ready when you want to do it out of love, not out of pressure from the guy! I would wait until you are at least out of college!

There are varying levels of 'intimacy' ranging from privacy to full fledged sex. At your age it is perfectly normal to experience sexual curiosity and it is quite normal to let it play out as naturally as possible. There is no 'correct' age for initiating the process. You do have to be very aware of all the consequences that being too intimate can have. You should avoid anything that makes you uncomfortable, anything that could lead to pregnancy, any contact that could cause you to get any Sexually Transmitted Diseases and so on.

Your best course of action would be to talk to an adult, preferably one of your own sex and one you can completely trust, to get more information on what to expect, avoid, look for, do and not do in a relationship.

But I think it depends on your comfort level and trust with the guy you are involved with... I lost mine at 15 and I wish I wouldve waited... Just remember you can never get it back, and the chances you are gonna end up with the guy you loose your virginity is like 1% so do what you feel in your heart dont listen to anyone else, or let other people (including him) influence your decision

Wow, if you have a caring father you should ask him this question. I'd say it is strange how everyone today is trying to date who they can when they can. I mean I know you probably aren't planning on marrying this guy, you are only 15! Sorry for being this way but seriously; this is where temptation and even teen pregnancy (not always the case) come about.

im sorry this is too difficult a question --- there are so many things that need to be considered but the overriding one is that the law says no you cant have sex and if you do the guy is guilty of a serious crime that will change his life for the worse forever
