I'm seriously considering finding a new job, because over the holidays, I realized how unhappy I am at my current job. The only good thing about the job is the pay, which isn't all that great, but better than I've made before. Should I quit or stick around for the semi-decent paycheque?

for me money is never a reason to keep a crappy job. you have to be there 8+ hours every day. Why suffer for semi-decent money?

Only you can decide that for yourself, but I changed jobs recently after 10 years with my employer and my life has changed completely for the better. I didn't even realize how much stress I brought home every day because of that job.

Good luck to you!

staying at a tarted up job for just the money is kind of bad.. you will fell miserable and fed up, relationship will go bad and communications will break down, in the end you will still get fired from the job. better leave the workplace with dignity and get a life, dont end up like a frog in the well....

Definitely look for something that will make you happy, even if the pay is less. But don't quit your job until you have another one.

You should stick it out until you find another one. What would you do if you quit, then could not find another job?
