On the face of it, its military preponderance makes victory seem inevitable. Even if Tehran acquires a nuclear weapon, Islamists have nothing like the military machine the Axis deployed in World War II, nor the Soviet Union during the cold war. What do the Islamists have to compare with the Wehrmacht or the Red Army? The SS or Spetznaz? The Gestapo or the KGB? Or, for that matter, to Auschwitz or the gulag?

Yet, more than a few analysts worry that it's not so simple. Islamists (defined as persons who demand to live by the sacred law of Islam, the Sharia) might in fact do better than the earlier totalitarians. They could even win. That's because, however strong the Western hardware, its software contains some potentially fatal bugs. Three of them – pacifism, self-hatred, complacency – deserve attention.

Pacifism: Among the educated in the West, the conviction has widely taken hold that "there is no military solution" to current problems, a mantra applied in every Middle East problem.

Using soap operas and actors as an example: I hate the EastEnders cockney accents, also I don't like the overly posh keira knightly/joanna lumley accents. Most of the characters in Hollyoaks have nice accents (but I'm not sure they correspond to the region it's set in). Davina MacCall has a nice accent (where's she from, what's her background?).
Some of the Brookside women had nice accents (when they weren't too hysterical).
Do people agree/disagree with me? Is preference for accent based on the people we've seen who have those accents (hence I don't like the Glaswegian accent because of Lorraine Kelly and Rab C Nesbitt?)

I had a bikini wax, now the hair is growing back incorrectly. I have 2 bumps about 1 cm big that when you squeeze them a stinky pus comes out then it gets smaller, sometimes I can pull the hair out of the bump, other times, it won't come out, then the bump will get little then become huge and have pus again. It is always in the same two spots. this has been going on for 6 months. I am to embarrassed to go to a doctor. I live in a very small community, and everyone will know about it in 5 minutes and there is no other doctor office, but this one. any advice for this?

Since the b/f can't come home on time I changed the locks and never gave him a key. We had an arguement earlier for him taking my vehicle w/o permission. The arguement ended with him slamming a door that hit me in the elbow and him storming out of the house, I yelled for him not to come back to my house! I just got home at 230am to a pitch black house (the way I left it) changed clothes, fixed the kids a snack, turned on TV, and deceided to check the house made a phone call all over the course of 10-12 minutes. There are 3 levels as I was in the middle and could be heard entering the house. Upon checking the house the b/f was on the lowest level standing in the laundry room in the pitch dark, until I flicked the light on. Startling me, I asked whatt he was doing and he stated he ws putting his bike away (. I did ask him to leave earlier, why was he here? I beleive he is trying to check up on me but this was scary and creepy! he knows how I am about this behavior, What do you think?
