Most likely. You might have asked when you got the prescription filled.

The active ingredient in Nurofen is ibuprofen. Ibuprofen is known to interact with aminoglycoside antibiotics like Gentamicin, but has not been reported to interact with Penicillin.

To the best of my knowledge, Penicillin has no effect on the action of ibuprofen.

yept, coz it's no drug interaction between penicillin and nurofen ( Iboprofen). but, penicillin you have to take before meal? ( coz have interaction with food) and nurofen you should take after meal suddenly to prevent GI ( gastrointestinal) side effect.

Please check with your physician before following advice from strangers.

That said, penicillin is an antibiotic and nurofen is an anti-inflammatory pain medication also known to decrease headache pain.

these tow drugs should have no contraindications, assuming patient follows doctor's recommended dosages, no allergy to penicillin, etc.

If you get all of your prescriptions from one pharmacy then they will be able to tell you if there is any contraindications.
