I had a bikini wax, now the hair is growing back incorrectly. I have 2 bumps about 1 cm big that when you squeeze them a stinky pus comes out then it gets smaller, sometimes I can pull the hair out of the bump, other times, it won't come out, then the bump will get little then become huge and have pus again. It is always in the same two spots. this has been going on for 6 months. I am to embarrassed to go to a doctor. I live in a very small community, and everyone will know about it in 5 minutes and there is no other doctor office, but this one. any advice for this?

also the bumps are in the hair area, not the middle hairless area.

6 months? You should really go to the doctor anyway, that sounds pretty serious. You could have a major infection the requires antibiotics. For comfort until you go to the doctor : Apply a wet hot washcloth to the bump and take a pain reliever.

Try putting really hot wet washcloth on the infected area to open
up the bumbs, use an antibiotic cream to clean out the infection
and keep away from the waxing .... it may take a while to clear up
without going to the doctor, but that's all I can suggest.

Honestly, if it has been going on for SIX MONTHS, you really need to see a professional. If you honestly feel like you can't go to a local doctor (which by the way, it is illegal to discuss patient information with anyone outside the office, it's called confidentiality!!), then make the drive to a walk in clinic or health department in the next city over!

Did you say six months? i think you're having ingrowing hair and thats what is causing the bumps with pus. my freind always gets such pumps when she shaves her armpits tho it doesn't take that long. Pliz speak to the doctor and ask him to examine you from home or go to the nearest town to have it checked. do'nt you think it will be more serious if you take too long doing nothing about it?

Sweetie go to the doctor ASAP!! it might be an infection from the wax itself or you have an ingrown hair that has caused the infection. Wish I could help some more but i think thats about the only way to solve your problem.

I really think that the only way to get rid of this problem is to go to the Dr. ASAP who knows what kind of an infection you have down there. You will feel much better once it is cleared up.

Dr.'s are bound to protect their patients privacy so no will will know why you were at the Dr's unless you choose to tell them.
