I see no reason why he needs to dye his hair. I also wonder why he suddenly began wearing a beard, after having shaved his cheeks his entire life. Did he suddenly want to project a more "religious" image?

When anybody famous goes to prison, it's more like a vacation. He can do basically whatever he wants within legal limits.

I would not worry about it. He has already been turned over to his own people by the courts. They plan on giving him a public hanging.
