How much longer will people continue to belief in ancient myths about Gods and prophets? I don't mean this question in an insulting way, I'm serious. So many legends and myths of our ancestors have been disproven, when will the current crop of ancient beliefs (Christianity, Islam, etc) go the way of the Dodo?

I understand that these legends bring comfort to some who are looking for answers as to "why are we here" and "what happens after this life". I guess my question is, why don't we just admit that we don't know the answers to these questions rather than creating belief systems that have been the cause of so much suffering and unhapiness over the centuries? "Turning my life over to God" or "It's in God's hands" seems such a cop out.

Our species has developed to a point where we can ask various questions but nowhere near advanced enough to know the answers. Having said that, we are getting there slowly but none of us alive today will know the real answers.

We are absolutely clueless as to what to pack and the neccessities.
We'll be able to rent skis there, but is there anything specific we need to bring ourselves, besides the obvious basics (luggage, warm clothes, etc.)?
We are a family of two adults, a 9 year-old boy and a 13 year-old girl.

I was drinving thinking of my angel daughter misismg her and feeling sad about 3 hours ago all the sudden I feel warmth on my arm look out the window in the midst of the heavy rain was the sun shining so bright it made me happy I felt it was mu daughter sending me sun to cheer me up Do you believe in these type of signs?

I'm a b.e graduate(2004)passed out. i do 've good knowledge in .net....but dont 've any experience.. Every 1 is suggesting me to keep fake experience.but dont know why, i cant do it full heartedly. I just got my betta fish for christmas. My sister has one too, and she says for the past few days mine has not been eating much.

She kept it in a small plastic container for about 4 days until this morning. He was bedraggled looking and the water needed changing.

I did all that--correctly I might add (haha!) and put him in his new bowl, he seems happier but he still isn't eating and I don't know why? Should I take the food out... or what?
