NO God Creates the devil steals

2006-12-25 06:17:04 · answer #1 · answered by soldoldman 2 · 2 2

NO! God is the eternal all powerful God. There is none like Him, never was, never will be. The devil is just a restrained, rebellious servant of God. That is all. He is not a creator; he is a liar, an imitator, and a murderer. He could not create a world, any more than a dog can create a butterfly.

"IF" our planet, by some slim chance, was actually made by a higher power with unequivilent abilities, then it is just as possible for the opposite to be true. The bible never specified what all Lucifer's abilities were, so it is quite possible.

Also, if the devil only steals, then where does he get his ideas for sin but from the only being capable of creating such ideas, god himself.

The devil is simply a slave and can only do so much until he is cast into hell with all those who chose to follow him. He has no creating powers. He was created by God to bring glory to God. He chose to get glory for himself and that was when he was cast out of heaven and that is why hell was created for him. Don't be decieved satan is nothing. Yes he is the deciever,he is a liar, he is a thief. Nothing more.

No..... the devil has not got the powers to do so. Only God does. He created everything that exists, and he is the Only God, with no partners, whatsoever!

Your making it out that the devil is a evil God, and has the same powers as God, but he uses it for evil. That's blasphemy!

The devil is a creation of God as well!! The devil is the cursed one, he is a creation of God, who turned evil, and wanted to start his own dominion. The devil is a jinn. A jinn is what God created out of fire. God created the jinns out of smokeless fire, and the Angels out of light, they, the jinn are basically ghost, but not dead people. Spirits.

For a better understanding of jinns, please refer to this link:
http://islamqa.com/index.php?ref=13378&ln=eng

Once you have a good understanding of the jinns, you can then gain knowledge of the devil. He is called Satan which comes from the Arabic word Shaytaan. Shaytaan means 'The cursed one' And his real name is Iblees.
The first link answers the question to what the satan is. A jinn or Angel?
Is Iblees a jinn or an angel?
http://islamqa.com/index.php?ref=8976&ln=eng

After that go on to reading if he still exist...
Is Iblees still alive?
http://islamqa.com/index.php?ref=10034&ln=eng
After gaining a good knowledge of the satan, you will understand the following question....
Will Iblees enter Hell, and why?
http://islamqa.com/index.php?ref=6297&ln=eng

"I did not create the Jinn and mankind, except that they should worship me"

[Surah ad-Dhariyat 50:53]

I doubt it. I'm an aetheist so I don't believe in any gods, but if there WERE gods and devils, I would have thought the devil controlled only the underworld.

From a fatasy world point of view, anything is possible. I wonder wich planet Peter Pan would create ?

The power to create is not attributed to Satan according to any Christian theology. This is why all "the devil made that to deceive us" claims made by creationists are so wacky.
