the other sister is wonderful. Is it ok that I would rather stay home alone on Christmas than spend time with my Mother and one sister?

if you do not get the respect from your family that you want and deserve, then yes by all means stay at home, You should tell you mother and bad sister this is going to be your way Of dealing with them and untill they show a big change in attitude they can do with out your company, DO not expect them to change but at least you gave them a chance. and have a merry Christmas.

If I knew I was going to be subject to that kind of treatment, I would stay home, too. Or go out with friends that I know would appreciate my company. No one should put up with that. Even if it is family.

you should do what makes you happy, spend more time with the sis that you like and less with the mom and other sis. they will suck the energy from you and you'll only be miserable, it's not worth it.
