My mother has never really been close to us kids. You'd think that being a single mother would make us a really close family, but it hasn't. I've allways felt let down throughout my life by my mum.
It's my twenty first birthday next month and i'm having a big family and friends dinner to celebrate, and my mother told me she isn't coming because she was booked to do a band job that weekend.
This was just the final straw for my mother. Now i'm so upset with her i don't even want to see her for christmas.
This morning i was told that she might be able to come for a few hours, now i'm torn. Do i forgive her and welcome her to my birthday or do i hold my ground and let her know how hurt i am?
The hardest thing is she doesn't even know that i'm upset or that i feel like she constantly lets me down. What do i do?

And don't give me the "work things out" stuff. Things are beyond that point. I am leaving. She does not yet know. I need to know what to expect during this process. How should I prepare? By the way, no children involved.

The RUDE Non-Christians, they want the Christians to keep their mouth shut about their belief , well they should listen to their own advice and keep their mouths shut about their opinion. Their saying all this cr@p (i didn't mean to curse) and ruining children belief in Santa clause.

OK me and this guy have been friends for a long time and we used to cyber online, now we have started to actually "mess around" but he has a girlfriend. We are really close friends but why does he do stuff with me and not her. He is actually a jerk to her and he is always really nice to me. I recently bought a '96 Merc C200 on the net, and its on ship transport as i write, but im worried by a rust that seems to cover the engine cover that i took note of when i viewed it on the cars website, the dealer said its just dirt, what can cause such on an engine cover, should i be worried?

Last week I did a reverse summer salt playing indoor soccer. I am healthy, 28 yr old male. no previous neck issues. about 4 days after the game, 2 small dime sized bumps appear on the left trap muscle. The barley protrude from the skin making it easy to spot. I can push on them and both are tender, but no major pain. Sleeping is no problem. I dont know what to do other than light neck stretches, and advil.

What do i do? Chiropracter, Doctor, Advil, Nothing? suggestions?
