if u dont want to mention an previous employer on ur application will they find out u worked there if do they do a check or w.e? i dont want to put an employer down because theres already another employer im mentioning that i dont want them to be contacted as reference ..i dont want to make it seem like i can't get a good reference

There is always the possibility that they will check references of any previous employer.

I recommend drawing up a separate document with references that you DO want the prospective employer to contact. That may lure them away from ones you don't want contacted.

More important is the fact that you have this problem at all. It's not good to burn your bridges even if it means you have to swallow a little pride. Take a good hard look in the mirror and make sure you're doing everything possible to leave a favorable impression on an employer.

Also important is the fact that you need to improve your writing skills. Please take a junior college English course or at least buy a book on effective business writing.

Learning to communicate effectively will do wonders for your career.

some will some will not. Some employers do an extensive background check, some do not. Remember though if you lie on your job application and your employer finds out, they can terminate you no questions asked and you won't have a leg to stand on.
