Question: Holidays Blues?

Question Details: I have a couple of friends who have fallen victim to the Holiday Blues. Despite my attempts to generally cheer them up, I don't seem to have been very successful. We are all single, with family away. I know this is extremely common with Christmas and New Year around the corner. I love the holidays, and I know that all the parties can be depressing when mostly everyone has a date. I'm looking for a few good cheer up suggestions that I haven't thought of yet. And, for those of you who look for something derrogatory to say, neither my friends or I are social misfits, we are just normal, everyday single women and men, who for the most part have a very active, satisfying life, and happen to be single.

she dumped me for another guy. When that didn't work out she came to live with me temporarily. She says she wants an abortion, I told her do what she thinks is best. she asked what I thought her I said your going to murder my unborn child (if its mine). She said I killed her spirit which is worst than abortion. I have mixed feeling we are not together, So how is person supposed to feel when says an ex saysi am pregnant it might be yours but I think its better if I abort this baby we are not in a stable relationship why bring a baby into already F-U-C-K-E-D up situation??????

My HDTV Samsung 61inch has HDMI inputs/outputs. If my cable box has HDMI outputs as well, is my HDMI cable just going from my cable box to my TV (and not my receiver)? If I'm getting the HDMI quality video via my HDMI cable from my cable box to my TV, what would I be gaining by spending $300 more on a HDMI receiver - would it be JUST for the sound? Would my video already be covered? Thanks in advance

First of all, I live in Wyoming and therefore there is no state filing; all my questions relate to federal tax information. I am married, and generally we just fiel a 1040EZ. This year, I am wondering if we should do it differently for the following reasons:

1 - We bought a house
2 - We bought 2 new vehicles
3 - We paid TONS of medical bills

I am seriously undereducated about taxes, so please tell me if these things are going to affect my tax return and how so? Also, if you know a good website that I can get some more information from that would be great!
