Why do Christians cling on desperately to the lies they are fed by the Wolves in sheep's clothing and refuse to examine the Bible for the confirmation that Jesus was two thieves crucified and Christ was set free and wqas unharmed under the protection of the Roman Governors?

i look at the universe and life as something different from most people.i dont believe in any supreme being,even though i was born into a christian family,i didnt really go to church.i dont even remember my childhood really,and i think this is an important part of the reason why i am how i am today. when i look at myself in the mirror i dont see myself as "me", i see myself as just a human in the universe, when i look at my hand and move it,i think about the messages my brain is sending to my hand to make it move and i think about my veins and blood running through it which is keeping me alive. i just look at life in terms of "science". i see that religion and government are totally man-made and are not really important when i think about it.as i sit down here now,typing this,i thihnk about myself in the UNIVERSE.and that the world is going on beyond my present vision.and RIGHT NOW there are things goin on in OTHER SOLAR SYSTEMS and galaxies that could hold civilizations.RIGHT NOW.sigh

For the past few years, I have told my friends that, in the spirit of Christmas, I will be donating a present to a charity on their behalf. (I take a photo of the gift and put it in a card for them). I have also told my friends that I do not want any gifts and if they really feel they want to buy me something, to make a donation to charity. Anyway, so many of my friends ignore this request and continue to purchase me gifts. I appreciate the gesture but I really do not want or need these gifts (I am over-run with clocks, photo frames and candles ever year). Would it be rude of me to pass on their gifts to needy families this Christmas?

My PS2 has frozen while saving... I know this will probably corrupt the data. I havent done anything to the console (switched it off/reset it) or removed the memory card so it is still on the frozen screen. Is there *anything* i can do to stop the data from corrupting??

OK so my ex- boyfriend is 25 and I'm 21. We dated for a month then HE ended it saying that he's "busy". Our relationship was very innocent, it never went past kissing cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. Today I got the biggest surprise, I logged on msn and he said hi right away to me. He asked me my plans for the winter break & I did, then he told me that he's gonna have a long break & travel for 3 weeks. Then he said "we should meet up". I said sure & he asked me when was good for ME, I did, & now we're meeting up next week. He said he'll call me the night before. WHY does he wanna see me now???, it’s been over for almost a year!!!! Is this meeting just a "hang out" to him or does he wanna try to get back? ALSO, he leaves for Hong Kong on Dec. 30th, so that’s in 2 weeks, so how come instead of getting ready for his trip or trying to meet other girls, he wants to see me now after a whole year????

Supposedly insider buying is significant, selling less so. But when I go to http://www.j3sg.com/ to check out the insider activity of some of the stocks I'm interested, I see insiders buying and selling at all the wrong times. The website mentioned above has stock charts with the insider activity marked on it. Insiders are not allowed to trade on information that is not publically available. So I wonder if their activity is overrated as a predictor of price movements.
