No accualy spiders can be quite fasinating. They make good pets for those who may be allergic to pet dander as well as making very intresting for observations.

Well arachnophobia is quite common, many people are completely turned off even to the mention of the word "spider".
I have actually read that the fear of spiders is instinctive. Apparently, our ancestors being apes of the jungles, where large spiders are potentially dangerous, arachnophobia was a triat that was selected for. The apes that survived to reproduce were those that were naturally scared of spiders, which is a good thing when venomous spiders are around.
I have always wanted a Chilean Rose hair, but my girlfriend is extremely arachnophobic, funny considering I study spiders for a living!!!

quite the contrary. they make up for rather useful pets for doing in just every single kind of insect that may be of any annoyance or harmful to your health. Since 2004 I haven't killed any spider at home so there are always clusters of spiders crawling all over the place! Neither you nor do your friends need to fear the dread tarantula as its venom is not lethal enough to make humans pass away. Even their bite is not that painful.

Of course spiders are not gross. Every animal on this planet is different in a good way. If your friends don't like it then they are missing out in a great pet.

No they sure are not!
The human race would be wiped out if spiders got any bigger then the bird spider...just think if they got a big as people, wow!
Bugs are cool if peeps just would look.
There are many poisonous spiders, it is easier to teach our kids and ourselves to hate them....
Remember that crickets if feeding these can be very mean when not fed...wished I new that when I had my baby tarantula. They chewed off his leg and he died. I did not know this about crickets the pet store did not tell me to watch out for this when I bought the crickets.....

to me they are not gross.
the only actual concern is that the hairs are itchy - defititely not a suitable pet for allergy-sufferers who are sensitive to things that cause itchiness!!!. the spiders release the hairs if moved, poked into, etc. never rub your eye/face after any contact with the spider or terrarium.

You did no longer flow away any middle floor. i'm indifferent. I consistently take spiders outdoors and enable them to flow. no longer somewhat comfortable hearted, in basic terms superstitious. comparable with crickets. something of the insect international will sense the wrath, have faith me... i've got in no way seen any somewhat extensive spiders interior the wild, and the great puppy tarantula element is misplaced on me. No pets with compound eyes % prepare...

I personally dislike insects but if you think about it they're not that bad. They help catch flys and other insects. Your friends opinions shouldn't affect your opinion.
