OK so my ex- boyfriend is 25 and I'm 21. We dated for a month then HE ended it saying that he's "busy". Our relationship was very innocent, it never went past kissing cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. Today I got the biggest surprise, I logged on msn and he said hi right away to me. He asked me my plans for the winter break & I did, then he told me that he's gonna have a long break & travel for 3 weeks. Then he said "we should meet up". I said sure & he asked me when was good for ME, I did, & now we're meeting up next week. He said he'll call me the night before. WHY does he wanna see me now???, it’s been over for almost a year!!!! Is this meeting just a "hang out" to him or does he wanna try to get back? ALSO, he leaves for Hong Kong on Dec. 30th, so that’s in 2 weeks, so how come instead of getting ready for his trip or trying to meet other girls, he wants to see me now after a whole year????

Maybe he's had enough time to see what Else was out there and no one else could compare to you, and he seen that so he wants to rekindle things before his trip. Maybe u are worth the wait to him and he wants you back.

From a 33 year old woman's point of view it really sounds like he probably wants to try to get some before he leaves.He is probably curious as to weather you are still saving yourself or not.Sorry to put it like that , but I have some wisdom in this area .
Don't even give him the benefit if meeting with you.Good luck

maybe something changed him and now he wants to apoligize to you or realizes what he let go. I don't know, but what I do know is to take it on day at a time. Don't get too worked up about this meeting up. Be cautious, come with an open mind, hope for the best...whatever that may be.

Maybe you are looking too much into it. He probably just wants to see you because you all were cool together. Impressed because you kept to your morals and standards. Anyway, meet up with your old friend and have a good time just hanging out. If you don't expect too much, you'll have a good time.

Why do you want to see him is a better question. You only dated for 30 days and he was too "busy" to see you. Nothing will come of this; he probably has nothing better to do before leaving. I don't know why you'd waste your time- aren't you too "busy" for him?

i think he just wants to hang out see how u r doing. there is a possiblity that he wants to get back together but i doubt it. i think it is just an been a long time let's hang out get together. but if he kisses u then u have something to think about

Chances was he was seeing someone when he was "busy". I'm guessing that they other girl doesn't exsist, so now he wants you back or maybe he found what he was missing and is ready to settle down.

it could be that he has dated other girls and he wants to get back together. or he misses you. Or he really wants to be friends and wants to hang out together before he leves
