why do people seem to think that anybody who comes to this country is am "immigrant"? If the person is legal, then it is immigration but if the person sneeks in, that is just trespassing or even a worse crime. Why would we want ppl in this country to willingly break the laws?

I can't prove my nanny took my jewelry (but I know and she knows she did) she disappeared in Poland and all my rings are gone. Who would I contact besides the Consulate (both American and Polish)? Is there a way I can find out where she lives in Poland ( I have a copy of her visa) to send a letter to her family? I did not want to spend a ton of $$$ trying to find her.

My family celebrates Chanukah. Trying to avoid the commercialism of the holidays and to teach my daughter that not everyone gets toys like you see on tv, I've used this opportunity to teach of those less fortunate and the meaning of presents. However, my daughter (5 years) asked me why, if Santa goes to every house, don't poor people get gifts? And, if they don't have a house for a tree, where does Santa put the gifts? And, if Santa knows where you're sleeping and knows when you're awake, why can't he find the homeless and deliver them presents? I'm at a loss on how to answer this one...any help??? Thank you!

weve been battling this for some time now.He does well at his work but he wont stay in his seat,interrupts by talking.at home all he ever says is i hate school i wish it would explode so id never have to go again.Every morning its a battle to get himready for school,the i hate school,its dumb its boring hes only six how can it be so dumb and boring?he fughts at dinner with everthing on his plate and he screams bloody murder at shower,but once he gets in you have to pull him out.hes doing advanvced reading in school and getting 100%,but he just keeps saying the rest of it is dumb "YAWN" WHY IS HE FIGHTING so hard, he sees no reorecations of his behavior,hes been kicked out of places and not allowed back due to his unwillingness to listen or follow directions,He is hoping that if he continue to act poorly in kindergaten they will throw him out so he can just stay home. i dont know what to do or say i feel like ive alked till blue more time outs and privlages revolked .what to dohelp?

First it was bagged lettuce, then it was onions at Taco Bell, and now something from an Indiana Olive Garden has about 300 people sick. This is happening too frequently and in so many different places it gives me reason to be suspicious. I'm beginning to suspect it is terrorists testing how best to poison us.

I heard that Phillipinoes consider the Korean community in their country to be a pretty much closed society due to language and culture barriers even though such barriers are slowly eroding. I also heard that it's far more common to find Korean-Phillipinoes who regret coming to Phillippines than the ones who really made it in Phillippines. Well, I think that would be the case with immigrants in any countries.

It's been atleast two and a half years and he still comes to mind and the thing Is we were better apart then together. I think what hurts the most Is that when I broke up with him he became more mature. But It's too late now and sometimes I think I should go back and try It again but then again I think to go forward In life not backwards.....any suggestions on how to move on or push forward?
