i strum and pluck with the right hand and i've been using the end of my thumb nail to pluck the strings. Recently i'm feelng this strong pain in the thumb nail. My question is, if i'm getting pain this way, then am i not donig it correctly? am i suppose to pluck with the flesh of the tip of the thumb and not the nail?

Recently my 10 year old daughter was unable to attend a friend's birthday party. However we still purchased a gift for her that cost thirty dollars and brought it to her friend at school. The very next day her friend informed her that she had sold it on a website (similar to Ebay) because she didn't want it. My daughter was extremely hurt by this because we spent good time and money choosing a gift that we hoped she would like. To outright tell my daughter that she didn't like it was hurtful, and to share the fact that she had sold it added insult to injury. Apparently her mother even went to the trouble of going to the store to see how much it cost, which I'm imagining was to help them determine how much to sell it for. My question is, should I contact the mother to let her know how upset my daughter was by this behaviour? Should my daughter talk to her friend about it? She's wondering if she even wants to be friends with this little girl anymore because she hurt her so badly.

my bf broke up with me about a month and a half ago...because he said we "fought too much" we fought because he wouldnt make time to be alone with me. we were with his friends 24/7 i wouldnt see him every day and when i didnt he would be with them and when i DID we would still be with him. I was with him for almost 3 YEARS and he met his friends THE LAST year we were together. so it's not like they were friends before we got together.

i just saw him last week and he said he wanted to try to be friends with me, would make time to see me, and didnt want to hurt me. said he wasnt seeing anyone, hasnt messed around with anyone. but today i found out hes in a ******* relationship already. apparently he was lying about everything he said. and i dont deserve it when i gave him the best i could give with everything. no we never had sex. thank you! he wanted to wait just like i did. we both have great morals. but now hes with a stupid whore who is practically naked on her damn website.

After all, the issue of sin was with mankind not animals, right? So if a man or woman is found worthy to be in the Book Of Life, then why is it that some say animals are not allowed in heaven? If God can give us the desires of our heart, what if the desire is to be with the lovely animals He created? Why would that be too much to ask for? All I want is an out of the way spot where my family(animals included ) can come together to give the Lord praise! The Bible says "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord"! Animals have breath and I think they are wonderful gifts to mankind. Why would they be excluded from heaven?

If you have read my other question then this is about it the same thing. I really want to get back on her because i hate the way she makes me feel. But i know she is the jelous one. I have a feeling she is going to say something again like that knowing her. So anything i can say to her that will make her stop or just let her know the way she is saying stuff like that is because she knows i'm a better dancer?? I am currently a stay at home mom, I am not used to it so I need advice on what my "job" is. I have a 4 year old and a 4 month old.My boyfriend/father of my children of 5 years works M-F 8 hours a day. I get so pissed of at him for not helping me out. I Clean,Do the laundry,Cook, Play and take care of the kids 24/7.When I say something about it to him he'll make a comment like I don't like my job either. Well when do I get a damn day off? He hasn't even changed a diaper on my 4 month old, He'll never get up to get the baby when he's crying he'll wait for me to do it.Then when Im trying to finish up something and the baby won't stop crying he might get up to get the baby and then ask me why I didn't bring him the baby. Well I don't think I should have to. He can hear.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i'm 18 and for as long as i can remember i've always get homesick when i go away from my mom for more than a few hours i'm very attached well i graduated high school this year and enlisted in the air force and i leave for texas march 20th i'm not afraid of going because the military has been my passion since high school but i'm just so attached to my mom i don't know how to let go i cry everyday thinking about leaving her i know i'mgetting to be too old to act like this i'm the youngest of my family and i've always been close to my mom how do i break away slowly and allow myself to grow and depend on myself rather than my mom i know my mom will always be there but i'm just afraid i can't do it without her???what are some ways to break the habit of being homesick for home and my mom?
