Trying to set my clock, what time is it where you are?

I am writing a paper on the cultural and psychological influences of media on our perceptions of race and gender. I know that African Americans have relatively poor representation on television and in the movies. (Not every movie but many that I have seen) They play "coonish" stereotypical comedic characters and etc.

African American "gangsta rap music" has further added to the problem by poorly representing the African American community sluts, rapist, urban psycho-killers, jail birds, misfits and deviants. The random acts of violence on the news continues dig an even bigger hole.

The ave African American I know; 30+ are as clueless about rap music as an opera singer in Italy. The reality of African American culture does not seem to quiet live up to or rather "down to" what I see on t.v.

MY QUESTION FOR YOU!!!!
1. Do African Americans have an "image problem" in your country. (Are they viewed negatively?)

2. If so, how are they viewed? What are those stereotypes?

Okay, lately I've been really stressed with school, home, and friends, especially with my thoughts. Its like every time something bad happens or like if my thoughts get me sad and depressed my heart hurts really bad like it won't stop hurting, even when i'm in a good mood. I would see a doctor but my mom doesn't have medical insurance for me, and not enough money. I have a fear that I may have a heart attack, and I'm trying to calm down and get rid of my stress...can anyone help me out with suggestions of how to lose stress? I'd really much apreciate it.

Since there appears to be evidence of multiple "black holes, isn't it possible that we live in a dynamic universe with both expansion and contraction. Perhaps more than one 'bang.' Ok.. my best friend and I attend the same college. Well in our class, she insists on never studying and always wants to copy me. I work extremely hard for the grades I get and almost feel cheated by someone who is taking advantage of me. On our final today, which she never even read the book, she expected to be able to copy of my test. I have warned her that she needs to study, but she waited until the day of the test.
