honda civic ecus are a dime a dozen in a junk yard.....just go and look.....and to the dude that said that they are 1000 easily....thats a bunch of bull....from a junk yard they will charge you about a couple of hundred for a used ecu

Do you have a "Pick - a - Part" wrecking yard nearby? Great places to pull your part and drop it in a bucket (or your pocket) without getting charged for it. I think there are some places out there that will 'reprogram' your chip for a reasonable fee also, but if it's bad to to begin with, the programming won't keep.

if the computer is bad, if you want to buythis car dont,
anything electronic or electrical isnt guaranteed.
best bet would be to junk the car and/or sell for parts.
computer for a car is 1000.00 very easily.
