Very serious question here... I am a graduate student studying religion... Don't waste your time or mine with stupid answers... I am not trying to be offensive, so please do not misunderstand my question, just kindly explain to me why my logic does not work if you do not agree with my conclusion. Thank you in advance.
I have one question for Muslims. The Quran refers to 2 women, Eve and Mary. Mary is referenced as the Mother of God. If this is the case, then shouldn't Muslims refer to Jesus Christ as God, not simply a prophet? Furthermore, if this is an accurate understanding, then what role does Muhammed play if Christ already stated that He is the "Way, the truth, and the light. No man comes to the Father but through him?"
Like I said, I am looking for honest answers, not confrontation.
